The primary goal of the Theater Arts Program is to provide students in grades 4-8 with an opportunity to develop and display performance skills and to gain knowledge of the processes involved in a theatrical production. 

Students work to develop theater vocabulary and acting skills. They are exposed to front of the house and backstage management which includes hands-on set design, construction, props, costumes, make-up, and lighting.

The Theater arts program which began in 2002 provides a constructive outlet for expression and social skills. It teaches children to work on a multi-aged team towards a common goal and to develop self confidence.
