We want to celebrate all of our amazing Grandparents with a special Mass at school on THURSDAY October 19th at 10:00 AM, Most Reverend Robert J. McManus, Bishop of Worcester, will be the principle celebrant at the mass on Grandparent's Day.
We look forward to honoring all of our amazing Grandparents.
Grandparents (or a special grandparent fill in- aunt, uncle, God parent, etc.) are welcome to come visit their grandchild’s classroom at 9:15 that morning. We will all head over to Mass together at 9:45. Grandchildren will sit with their grandparents during Mass and we will have refreshments after Mass in the church hall.
Grandparents are welcome to walk their grandchildren back to school to visit the Book Fair or say their good byes in the lobby.
It is important for you to RSVP with the number of Grandparent's attending so we can plan the food accordingly.
Unfortunately, there is no room for parents at this event...
When dropping off preschool students, please do not park in the teacher’s lot. You will need to park under the basketball hoops or near the church and walk your child to the preschool classrooms. We have found it to be a safety issue with cars backing up in the small space behind the school. We do not want any little ones in the way of cards.
School aged children can be walked to the door or drive down the loop and drop off at the door and along the walkway. Please make sure students are ready to unload quickly and efficiently. Say good bye's and get bags ready as you are making the loop! Students may unload from cars as long as you are along the walkway. They do not need to wait to unload at the front door. This will help drop off go a little quicker. The doors will open at 8:30 and students need to be IN Class at 8:45 or they are marked tardy.
PreK students dismissed at 12:00 can be picked up at the Little Red School House. Please park across the street from the school (near the church) and walk down. The parking lot is closed during recess (10:30-1:00) and sometimes in the afternoon for gym class.
Please remember that you CANNOT drive around the cars in the pickup/drop off line for the safety of our students. Please be patient. We will get you out as quickly as possible. We also ask that if you are in car line that you do not get out of your car and come to the lobby to pick up. If you're in car line, stay in your car and we are happy to load your child when you get closer to the building.
It is also important to watch for the buses at the end of the day with the red lights and stop sign out. It is illegal to pass a school bus with their lights on/sign out while loading and unloading students.
The safety of our students is our number one priority.
