The Veils are moving on…
Mr. Veil recently accepted a position with Ohio State University. He will be the Curator of the Secrest Arboretum in Wooster, Ohio (pronounced like Worcester). Although we love New England and all of you, this is not the type of opportunity he can turn down. The new position will begin January 16th, so our last day will be the one before Christmas break. Sometimes the Lord's plan does not match with our own, but I know that as long as I follow the path He has laid, we end up okay. I was reluctant to move from PA to Massachusetts, and yet, He found me a school much like the one I was leaving. You all have been our family away from family, and I appreciate everything you have done for me and my children. Just think, somewhere in Ohio there may be a school that is waiting to hear about all of you and how you did things "at my old school." Love and Blessings, Mrs. Veil
SOCKS FOR SANTA
November’s Virtue is Service. We’d love to have ALL of our students participate in this fulfilling service project by donating at least 4 pair of socks. Our goal is to DOUBLE the amount we collected last year…. 1000 socks! That’s a lot of socks but I know our students are up for the challenge. This is the perfect way to be in service to others and supporting those in need at our local homeless shelters, women’s shelters and the elderly of our community.
Please consider helping those who are in need of socks or underwear for the cold winter ahead.
A small package of socks or underwear each month is a small price to pay for knowing that the elderly in our neighborhoods are going to be warm this winter.
Thank You from the second and third grade students of St. Anna Catholic School
Join us for some shopping and light snacks on November 14th from 6:00-8:00 in the church hall.

BOOKS & BEYOND
Books and Beyond is a PTO sponsored literacy incentive program for students in PreK-3 through 3rd Grade. It is an "outside of school" reading program, designed to motivate young students to read beyond the classroom. The ultimate goal of the program is to encourage a life-long love of reading!
This year's program will run from Wednesday, November 1, 2017 to Monday, April 30, 2018. We will have a kick off assembly after lunch on November 1st and unveil this year’s theme. More detailed information about the program will be emailed home soon.
Our annual Veteran’s Day program will be held on Friday, November 3rd at 10:00. All students participate in the program and sing a variety of patriotic songs and more! We are honored to have many Veteran guests at our program. We invite everyone to join us that morning.
SOCIAL MEDIA GUIDELINES
This is an important reminder that St. Anna School has specific guidelines in place for social media. Please take a moment to review the Social Media Guidelines. We ask that parents, volunteers and staff use social media for positive interactions and that concerns should be addressed to the school.
