During this season of Lent, students are focusing on prayer (as Father described at Mas this week- they can talk to God like he's their friend), Fasting (what they can 'give up') and Alms Giving. As a school we will be collecting donations to support the food insecure students of Leominster through Kylee's Kare Kits. Each week we will be collecting different items to be donated.
March 6-10th Granola Bars, Oatmeal Packets & Individual boxes of cereal
March 13-17th Applesauce & Fruit Cups
March 20-24th Soups (kid friendly), Spaghetti O's, Chef Boyardee Ravioli & Spaghetti & Meatballs

Tuition rates and new registration forms for 2017-2018 were emailed home today. All returning students need to fill out the new registration form. Please make sure you re-register before March 31st. We have waiting lists for several grades and spaces will be opened up to them on April 7th. If you do not re-register, you could lose your child’s spot.

First Communion Preparation Classes
-begin this Sunday, March 5th, 2017. The class begins at 8:40AM and ends at 9:40AM. All students will meet in the School Lobby and will be led to their classroom by Miss Paolini, their teacher. They will be receiving work books which will remain in school until the students finish the classes and bring them home.

BUTTER BRAIDS FUNDRAISER
YUM! Butter Braids Order Forms will come home with your child on Monday. The sale runs from March 6-20. Orders will be picked up on April 10th , just in time for Easter! Proceeds will support spring field trips, including middle school trips!

TERRA NOVA TESTING
Students in grades 2-8 will have their Terra Nova testing March 13-24. Please help your child get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast to prepare them for a day of testing. It is important to arrive to school on-time each day as testing will begin promptly at 9:00 for most classes. Specific schedules will be available next week.

Athletics & Activities
Basketball Clinics for grades 1-4 this weekend.... ALL students are welcome to attend regardless of whether or not you played on one of our teams. Come learn some new skills.

Mondays- Set Design- help Mrs. Farnsworth create the set and props for the drama club's production of Shrek Jr. This is a FREE program for grades 4-8 and will extend beyond the 8 weeks.
Tuesdays- Scrapbooking with Mrs. French and Mrs. Priddy! Do you want to preserve your memories and pictures? This is for you... Grades 3-8.
Drama Singers will also me working with Mr. Marcoux on Tuesdays after school-
Wednesdays- Board Game fun with Miss Ellis. Are you in grades 4-8 and love to play board games or just want to have fun with friends- this is a FREE program just for you.
Thursdays- Lego Club is back for grades K-3... This is FULL…
Fridays- Video Editing with Miss Ellis... learn how to video edit and create slide shows.
