New this year- You can order your back to school classroom supplies on-line! Skip the hassle of the store and trying to find just the right pack of colored pencils or that specific plastic two pocket folder! You know what we’re talking about. Order on-line (before FRIDAY)…. And your child’s supplies will be delivered directly to the classroom and waiting for them the first day of school. Other parents have already taken advantage of this opportunity and said it was super easy (less than 2 minutes). Grades 6-8 don’t forget to add the calculator if you need one!

If your child lives in Leominster and is going to take the school bus home next year, please email Mrs. Priddy and let her know as she will be working on the bus lists with the bus company for next year.
Please remember that we have extra uniforms available in the back of the cafeteria. These are donated by families whose children have out grown them and they are still in good condition. Please feel free to stop in and browse any time we’re open and help yourself to anything your child can use. We are also accepting more uniform donations as you begin to clean out the closets this summer from uniforms your child has outgrown.

Our annual Back to School BBQ will be held on September 15th! Join us for “Once Upon A Time”!
The committee will be having a planning meeting on July 12th at 6:00 PM in the foyer of the school. All are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring their new ideas. They will be looking for chair persons to help with the various areas of the BBQ…..
The PTO will be sponsoring monthly restaurant nights this year. This is a wonderful opportunity for St. Anna families and friends to get together and support the school at the same time. These are other ‘easy’ fundraisers to support the PTO efforts. Two restaurant ‘nights’ are planned for this summer, but you can go all day! We will be sure to email and post the special flyers.
Papa Gino’s in Leominster on July 12th on dine-in, take out AND Delivery! They will also accept the flyer on your phone!
Pizzeria Uno’s August 23rd all day- also includes take out and alcohol and will conveniently accept the flyer from your phone!

COOL KIDS CASH CLUB
DON’T FORGET TO OPEN YOUR ACCOUNT THIS SUMMER……..
Cool kids cash club- check out the introductory letter! This program will allow students to being banking at school. They will learn the importance of saving and will be able to make deposits into their savings account twice a month. This is an easy and terrific way to start saving NOW for middle school field trips! Each year the 6th graders attend Nature’s Classroom at a cost of around $600. The Washington DC trip is held every other year so your child would have the opportunity to attend DC as either a 7th or 8th grader. This trip costs around $1000. If you being saving NOW, as early as preschool or Kindergarten, your child could easily save enough money to cover both of these trips by the time they become a middle school student!
Students will also learn skills about keeping a savings account pass book and other financial skills that are necessary to become financially responsible adults.
Parents who are interested in having their child participate in this program, will need to open their child’s account at Fidelity and then on-going deposits can be made conveniently at school.
Please feel free to stop in at either Fidelity branch in Leominster to open your account. Please let them know it is for St. Anna’s Cool Cash Club and/or email and let me know you’ve opened an account for your child so I can let you know when banking at school will begin.

Just a few housekeeping notes as we wrap up the school year.
1) All students entering Kindergarten, 4th, and 7th grades will need updated physicals dated before 9/1/2017. You can drop a copy off at the school office or mail it in over the summer. This pertains to any updated immunization records as well.
2) If your child received a follow up letter from the hearing/vision screenings this spring, please make sure to send the health office a letter from your doctor after your follow up appointment.
3) If you are bringing an epi pen or rescue inhaler to school for the fall, please remember that the office needs a signed provider order, a signed parent permission form, and an emergency action plan. These orders must be renewed by providers every year. Please send these documents to the office before the start of school. All medications must be provided in their original packaging.
