OPEN HOUSE-ALL ARE WELCOME We will start Catholic Schools Week off with an Open House. We’d love everyone to come see what all the excitement is about. The Open House will be held after the 10:00 Mass (11:00-12:00) on Sunday, January 29th . This is for current families, potential families and parishioners. We’d love the opportunity to show off what the students have been learning at school this year. We also invite all of our current students to show their St. Anna pride and attend the 10:00 Mass. We’d love to have the Choir sing for Mass! You can wear your uniform, or anything that shows your pride- St. Anna basketball uniform, cross country shirts, sweatshirts. We want everyone at church to see how proud you are to attend St. Anna School. Please note that we are currently accepting students on a wait list for Preschool 4, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Fourth Grade. SUPER BOWL PASTA SUPPER Join us on Wednesday, February 1st from 5:00 – 7:00pm in the Church Hall for our Annual Super Bowl Pasta Supper. Take a night off from cooking and spend time having a great meal with your St. Anna friends and family. Great food, Basket Raffles, 50/50 and don’t forget to get your Super Bowl Squares for $10 each from Mrs. Priddy! The menu includes pasta and homemade meatballs, rolls, salad, assorted desserts, coffee & drinks. ** Gluten Free Pasta available upon request- when you purchase your tickets!** Tickets can be purchased in the office- you can send in the ticket order form or just let Mrs. Priddy know how many tickets you would like. We are limited to 300 tickets and cannot guarantee any tickets at the door. Advanced tickets $8 adults / $7 seniors and children under 10 At door $10 adults /$9 seniors and children under 10 Basket Raffles: Italian Supper, Legos, Smore’s, Arts & Crafts, Winter Fun, American Girl, Baby It’s Cold Outside, Scratch Ticket Tree, Family Game Night, Sports, Spa, Restaurant gift certificate wreath and more! NJHS students are encouraged to sign up to help also. TALENT SHOW and LIP SYNC BATTLE It’s that time of the year…. The talent show is quickly approaching (February 2nd at 10:00). We would love to have you share your talent with us! We are looking for NEW talent this year! If you’ve done the same act for the past two years…. We’d like you to think of a new act to try out. Do you play an instrument or sing? Can you dance or juggle? Know any magic tricks or good jokes? We’re also looking for Middle School Students who want to organize small groups to participate in our first Lip Sync Battle!! Please fill out this form if you are interested in performing and return it to the office before Friday, January 27th. Remember that individual lip sync acts are not accepted, due to the limited amount of time. Performers need to provide their own music, costumes, props etc. ALL Music selections must be submitted to the office by January 27th for PRIOR approval. Please see Mrs. Priddy with any questions. CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK IS COMING! We will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week with lots of great events! Please note the time/date change of some of our programs due to scheduling- Monday 10:00-11:00 students will sign up for various board games, old fashioned indoor fun games etc. They will get to mingle with their friends while getting gamey! Tuesday- Mad Science will be presenting their Fire & Ice show to two groups in the morning and our Geography Bee will be at 2:00 Wednesday- Join us for a special instructional Mass at 9:00 as Father Fred teaches the children why we do what we do at Mass each week! There's something new for everyone to learn. The spelling bee will be at 1:30 and don't forget the Pasta Supper from 5-7 Thursday- Our annual Talent Show with a twist... we're looking for NEW acts and groups of middle school students to do our own version of Lip Sync Battle! This will take place at 10:00 in the morning Friday- We are changing it up this year- come see the students vs faculty in a VOLLEYBALL game! All week we will have COIN WARS.... each class will have a large jar to fill with coins... the class gets a point for every penny in the jar and we subtract a point for all the silver coins in the jar! Let's see who can get the most points (earn a special treat) and help raise money for the American Cancer Society! Don't forget the special days too.... crazy hair day, color wars, sports day, St. Anna spirit, and of course Patriot's Day! Cafe Corner.... January Lunch Menu Orders can be placed until 7am on the day of the meal at www.orderlunches.com Don't forget you can also order milk to go with home lunches- you can either order on-line or by sending in your milk money weekly or monthly to the office in an envelope marked with your child(ren)'s name.
