Extended Care Sign in-
We are going to try a new sign in/out for extended care to help make it more accurate for parents. There will be an ipad at the sign in table and you'll just use your pin # to sign your child in or out. We will then use those records to enter extended care attendance in our current system.
We are finding with the current paper sign in/out- many parents do not sign in or out and we are not able to charge them correctly, this will make sure that we are only billing parents for the time their child(ren) are actually in extended care on not have to guess what time a child was dropped off or picked up.
We know it will take a little time to get used to the new system.
Mrs. Walsh will also have a copy of the pin #'s. She will also take attendance and enter the students when they come down after school.
For students who come to extended following an after school program, will be shown how to enter themselves or get a teacher to help them sign in.
