DRESS CODE REMINDERS
Please make sure your child is following the St. Anna dress code. Students should be wearing solid color school shoes. If any type of boot is worn to school in the winter, students must change into school shoes while in the building. Boots can be worn to school and out to recess but not while in class.
Socks should be white or navy. Bright colored socks are for special days and out of dress only. Students also need to wear gym shorts and pants that follow the uniform guidelines. Shorts must be solid navy (found at Allen's) and gym pants can be solid navy sweats, windpants or the striped gym pants. NO other gym pants are allowed.
Students are allowed to wear St. Anna sweatshirts and fleece during the day when classrooms are chilly.
We go OUTSIDE EVERY day when the temperature is about 28 degrees (taking into consideration the wind chill). Students should dress for the weather and are responsible to make sure they wear their jackets, hats, mittens outside for recess.

The parishioners of Saint Anna Parish will celebrate the 4:00 Christmas Eve Mass by incorporating the story of the Birth of Our Lord, Jesus Christ as portrayed by our students from Saint Anna Parish.
We invite parish youth, to take part in the pageant. There is no age limit as we can really use the older children to guide the younger ones. Costumes will be provided for the main characters that will be chosen by drawing. We have some angel costumes, however, you may wear white dress or costume if you have one at home. There are no lines to memorize. The narrative will be read and the actors will portray the scenes as they appear in the Nativity Story. We will have 2 rehearsals on Mondays, December 11th and December 18th from 3:30 to 4:30pm.
If your child is interested please fill out the information at the bottom, detach and return it to the next class. The deadline to sign-up for the pageant is Sunday, December 10th. TEACHER WISH LISTS!
Back by poplar demand- Teacher's have added items that would be helpful for their classrooms- instead of putting cards on the tree this year, we did it virtually. This allows more parents to participate and teacher's can always use multiples of some of the items. Take a look at the WISH LIST and feel free to purchase something for a teacher. You can send it in to the teacher- wrapped or unwrapped or add to a Christmas Gift!
The St. Anna Food Pantry is also in need of peanut butter, tuna fish and canned vegetables- we will keep them on our list and update it during the year as well.
Thank you as always for your on-going support! We appreciate you!
December Lunch Menu
Don't forget lunch milk is available for $0.50 for those that bring lunch from home. You can send money to school weekly or monthly. Please clearly mark the envelope with your child's name and which days they are having milk with lunch.
There's also a vending machine with plastic bottles of water, iced tea, flavored water and Gatorade/Powerade (12 oz) for $1.00.
NJHS Ice Cream SALES every Friday for $1.00 (or big bomb pops for $2.00)
Please remember to bring in any meds with doctor's orders for meds to be given during the school day.
Updated physicals and immunizations need to be returned to the nurse.
ALL athletes (cross country, cheering, basketball) will need to have updated physicals on file (from the last 12 months) in order to participate.
It is also that time of the year with change in seasons, if your child is not feeling well, please keep them home from school. If a child has a fever, diarrhea or vomiting, they cannot return to school for at least 24 hours. Please help us keep all children healthy this year.
