Wow... It's hard to believe there are just 10 days until Christmas. The Christmas Spirit is alive in the halls of St. Anna School. We had a wonderful Kindergarten Nativity Pageant yesterday afternoon. They were fantastic. They all knew their lines and words to the beautiful songs. It was a wonder for all to experience.
Today our preschool to grade 3 students traveled to the different continents to make Christmas ornaments as part of our annual Christmas Around the World. I enjoyed seeing the smiled on their faces as they put beads on their straw stars, glued halo's on their angels and filled their ornaments with pom poms, pipe cleaners and other trinkets. It was a morning of memories they will be reminded of each year as they put their ornaments on their tree. This the time of year for traditions and making memories with our family.
We will have our monthly awards following Mass this week. We will recognize Virtue of the Month for Service, our Tiger Award for most improved and Honor Roll/Principal's List for grades 4-8.
SOCKS FOR SANTA
We only need 250 more pairs of socks to meet our goal- Our goal is to DOUBLE the amount we collected last year…. 1000 socks!
ONE more week to reach our goal… if EVERYONE can bring in one pair of socks we will exceed our 1,000 socks to help those in need this winter…. Think about how cold it has been the past few days and how you can show COMPASSION (our virtue of the month) for those that don’t have warm socks and bring some in for them! Collection bins are in the lobby just waiting for 250 more pairs!

TEACHER WISH LISTS!
Back by poplar demand- Teacher's have added items that would be helpful for their classrooms- instead of putting cards on the tree this year, we did it virtually. This allows more parents to participate and teacher's can always use multiples of some of the items. Take a look at the WISH LIST and feel free to purchase something for a teacher. You can send it in to the teacher- wrapped or unwrapped or add to a Christmas Gift!
The St. Anna Food Pantry is also in need of peanut butter, tuna fish and canned vegetables- we will keep them on our list and update it during the year as well.
Thank you as always for your on-going support! We appreciate you!
