This week's edition of FRIDAY MAIL
We've had a wonderful week back. Our students have been spreading KINDNESS everywhere and have really taken on the challenge! Keep those sneakers coming in.
We had fun celebrating National Pig Day today and yes Mrs. D was very excited too!
I saw lots of learning going on in classrooms this week, lots of math- learning to read graphs, learning division, decimals and even a STEM challenge. Do you remember memorizing the states and capitals? That's what our 4th graders are doing now!
Sixth graders even baked banana bread to compare to igneous rocks. That was a yummy lesson.
We've had a busy week even with Polar Vortex on it's way through. It seemed strange not celebrating Catholic Schools Week the end of January. We still had lots of fun at our annual Superbowl Pasta Supper and don't forget the Geography Bee too! Enjoy this week's Friday Mail....
Mrs. Veilleux, our principal, will update the blog once she gets settled in. She is excited about keeping you informed and up to date about upcoming events.
