May 1st - May 5th is Teacher Appreciation week! We will be celebrating our All Star Teachers all week by showering them with kind words, small gifts, and a special luncheon! The luncheon will be on Wednesday, May 3rd from 11:40am - 12:40pm. We will need parent volunteers to make the food, and volunteers to supervise the children that day while they are at lunch and recess. *New this year* we want to make this special week a "duty free" week for the teachers! We will be looking for volunteers to cover lunch duty and bus duty to give our All Star Teachers a little extra time for themselves! Please use the Teacher Appreciation Week Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet to add your name where ever you can help out! Thank you!

COOL KIDS CASH CLUB
Coming soon… the cool kids cash club- check out the introductory letter! This program will allow students to being banking at school. They will learn the importance of saving and will be able to make deposits into their savings account twice a month. This is an easy and terrific way to start saving NOW for middle school field trips! Each year the 6th graders attend Nature’s Classroom at a cost of around $600. The Washington DC trip is held every other year so your child would have the opportunity to attend DC as either a 7th or 8th grader. This trip costs around $1000. If you being saving NOW, as early as preschool or Kindergarten, your child could easily save enough money to cover both of these trips by the time they become a middle school student!
Students will also learn skills about keeping a savings account pass book and other financial skills that are necessary to become financially responsible adults.
Parents who are interested in having their child participate in this program, will need to open their child’s account at Fidelity and then on-going deposits can be made conveniently at school.
They also have a reading incentive for a FREE t-shirt and will have additional promotional opportunities throughout the program!
Please feel free to stop in at either Fidelity branch in Leominster to open your account. Please let them know it is for St. Anna’s Cool Cash Club and/or email and let me know you’ve opened an account for your child so I can let you know when banking at school will begin.
If you have questions about the program, please contact Ruby Vargas from Fidelity Bank at firstname.lastname@example.org or 978-353-2701
School Banking will begin once we have a few students signed up…
